Join Ohel's CORE Services (Community Oriented Recovery and Empowerment Services) team and help empower adults on their journey toward recovery, independence, and wellness.

    Through Peer Support and Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR), CORE Services provides comprehensive mental health treatment and supportive services to adults ages 21 and older. As an Assistant Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in ensuring high-quality services while mentoring staff and fostering a collaborative, person-centered environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Recruit, train, supervise, and support direct care staff
    • Provide coaching and guidance to staff to implement treatment goals and interventions
    • Plan and coordinate engaging recreational and psychosocial group activities that promote recovery and community participation
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and partner with other Ohel programs to provide coordinated, holistic care
    • Help create a positive, supportive environment for both clients and staff

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree required (Human Services or a related field preferred); Masters degree preferred
    • Experience working with individuals with mental health challenges
    • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication, writing, and computer skills

Eligibility for all benefits is based on hours worked, employment classification, and fulfillment of applicable waiting periods and plan requirements. This full time position is based in Brooklyn.

    Salary: $60,000 - $75,000
