The USGAs Championship Administration Team is a collaborative group of eight that oversees the in-house administration and planning details that support the successful execution of 15 National Championships. We are the beginning of the player journey - managing the Championship entry platform and a high volume of player inquiries through our commitment to excellent customer service. The team operates across four key pillars, each held to a high standard of execution: customer service, exemptions and exemption events, Championship equipment, and IT. A primary function within Championship Administration is working collaboratively with 55 Allied Golf Associations to conduct approximately 650 USGA Qualifiers each year. We work in close partnership with our Championships Department to support the Championship experience for all. We are looking for a teammate with an interest or background in golf administration and a strong attention to detail to join our team. We are building for the next chapter of Championship Administration and are looking for someone energized by the details that build defining moments in USGA Championship history.
About this role:
The USGAs Championship Administration team is responsible for the in-house preparation and administration of USGA championships, including entries, exemptions, qualifying, customer service and equipment. The Assistant Manager, Championship Administration will have primary oversight of the following:
What you'll do:
Management of the departments customer service objectives:
In-house administration of the U.S. Womens Amateur Four-Ball Championship:
Manage the process for Qualifying Site Submission & AGA Reimbursement:
Administer the Executive Committee Ambassador Program:
Oversight of golden ticket production and execution, for those players advancing to USGA Championships. Responsible for distribution of golden tickets to AGAs and exempt players and electronic distribution of golden tickets and alternate notifications for all championships.
Verification of Amateur, Professional, or Amateur for Reinstatement status for all championship entry applications.
Other duties as assigned, including serving in an on-site capacity at up to two championships per season and supporting the Championship Administration team with special projects as needed.
Where youll be:
This role will be based at our Liberty Corner, NJ campus on a hybrid schedule. Employees are required to spend 3 days per week working in the office, between Monday - Thursday. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are mandatory in-office community days. Employees can choose between Monday or Thursday as their third in-office day.

The annual base salary range for this position is $55,000 - $63,000. This range represents what we reasonably expect to pay as starting base compensation for this role. Compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, depth of experience, and relevant certifications. In addition to your base compensation, the USGA provides competitive benefit offerings for all full-time employees.
