    Assistant Manager Remote (USA) Job Summary

    We are seeking a motivated, organized, and results-driven Assistant Manager to support daily business operations, team performance, project execution, and customer or stakeholder needs. The ideal candidate will work closely with management to coordinate activities, improve processes, monitor performance, and ensure organizational goals are consistently achieved.

    This is a fully remote position open to candidates located in the United States.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Support the Manager in overseeing daily operations and achieving departmental objectives.

    • Coordinate team activities, priorities, schedules, and workloads.

    • Monitor performance metrics, project deadlines, and operational KPIs.

    • Assist with planning, implementing, and improving business processes.

    • Serve as a point of contact for employees, clients, customers, and internal stakeholders.

    • Prepare reports, presentations, dashboards, and management updates.

    • Track projects, deliverables, action items, and follow-ups to ensure timely completion.

    • Identify operational issues and work with management to develop effective solutions.

    • Assist with employee onboarding, training, coaching, and performance support.

    • Coordinate cross-functional activities between operations, sales, finance, technology, and other departments.

    • Help maintain company policies, procedures, documentation, and compliance requirements.

    • Review data and reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

    • Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, purchasing, and resource planning as needed.

    • Handle escalated customer or employee issues professionally and efficiently.

    • Provide coverage for the Manager and assume leadership responsibilities when required.

    • Contribute to strategic initiatives and special projects assigned by senior leadership.

    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a related field preferred.

    • 2+ years of experience in management, operations, administration, customer service, project coordination, or a related field.

    • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

    • Ability to analyze information, prepare reports, and make data-informed recommendations.

    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with remote teams.

    • Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability and meeting deadlines.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience supervising or mentoring employees.

    • Experience managing projects or cross-functional initiatives.

    • Familiarity with Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Salesforce, Slack, or Microsoft Teams.

    • Experience with KPI reporting, operational dashboards, and performance analysis.

    • Knowledge of Agile or other project-management methodologies.

    • Experience with process improvement and workflow optimization.

    • Previous experience working in a fully remote or distributed organization.
