WE ARE HIRING: ASSISTANT MANAGER
Cookie Time Bakery is looking for an Assistant Manager to be the right hand to our manager and help take the bakery into its next chapter!
We're looking for a self-starter who loves cookies, enjoys being creative, and is excited to take on new projects. You'll have the opportunity to help strengthen the culture and business that already exists here while bringing your own ideas to the table. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety, flexibility, and room to grow.
THE ROLE
- Work closely with the manager on daily operations and special projects
- Own the creation and management of Cookie Time's social media content
- Assist with baking, decorating, and customer service
- Help with daily bakery production, including preparation, baking, decorating, and preparing products for the case
- Help manage Toast, online ordering, and third-party delivery
- Help train and support staff as needed
- Jump in wherever needed to keep the bakery running smoothly
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Must love cookies!
- Baking experience: someone comfortable working in a commercial kitchen or eager to develop those skills
- Enjoys baking and is interested in learning new techniques, recipes, and production processes
- Experience and a deep interest in creating engaging, creative content for social media is required
- Tech-savvy and a fast learner
- Independent worker with strong communication and organizational skills
- Toast/POS experience is a major plus
- Commercial kitchen or bakery experience is a plus

We re working on modernizing our processes and customer experience. We recently implemented Toast, online ordering, and third-party delivery, and we re always looking for new and creative ways to improve our store, operations, and customer experience.
There is no shortage of projects to take on, and the sky is the limit when it comes to ideas and improvements.
While we are lucky to have some flexibility in hours and schedule, this position will be asked to work some weekends.
25 hours/week to start, with plenty of room to grow
