We are seeking an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at our 6963 Olive Blvd location in University City, United States. In this pivotal role, you will partner with the General Manager to drive operational excellence, lead and inspire a dedicated team, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. As an Assistant Manager, you'll be instrumental in creating a positive work environment while maintaining high standards of service and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment where everyone feels valued and supported
• Oversee daily store operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and quality control procedures
• Ensure exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer concerns and maintaining transparent communication with all stakeholders
• Train and mentor team members to meet company standards and performance goals, supporting their professional growth and development
• Manage cash handling procedures, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with budget monitoring and analysis
• Implement and enforce food safety, sanitation, and health protocols to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
• Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve store performance targets and contribute to strategic decision-making
• Handle multiple responsibilities efficiently and decisively in a dynamic, high-volume environment
• Support marketing initiatives and participate in local community engagement efforts to strengthen brand presence
• Maintain store appearance, cleanliness standards, and equipment functionality through organized and proactive management
• Analyze operational metrics and provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a criminal background check
• Dependable vehicle with proof of current auto insurance
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the food service or retail industry
• Proven leadership skills with demonstrated ability to motivate and develop team members
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an empathetic and inclusive approach
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with analytical mindset
• Proficiency in basic mathematics and computer skills
• Knowledge of food safety standards and commitment to maintaining high sanitation protocols
• Experience with inventory management, cash handling, and financial record-keeping
• Ability to multitask effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds regularly
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive, resilient attitude and strong work ethic
• Organized and detail-oriented approach to managing multiple priorities
• Preferred: Food safety certification or equivalent training
