    Midland University, a private, faith-based, liberal arts university in Fremont, Nebraska (just outside of metro Omaha), is seeking a part-time Men's/Women's Lacrosse Assistant Coach. The candidate will be responsible for contributing to various aspects of the lacrosse program, including assistant coaching, program administration, practice preparation, and other duties assigned by the Head Coach.

    Job responsibilities include:

    • Recruiting and retaining students for the Men's and Women's Lacrosse program
    • Practice planning and preparation
    • Coaching the position(s) or segments necessary as directed by the Head Coach
    • Assisting with team travel and game day operations
    • Assist in preparing scouting reports for future opponents
    • Player development and management
    • Monitor the academic progress of the student-athletes
    • Responsible for administering NAIA, KCAC and Midland University policies pertaining to recruitment and student-athlete eligibility
    • Continuously ensuring personal behavior and program reputation are in alignment with Midland University's mission and core values
    • Other duties as assigned

    Need to have:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Valid driver's license
    • Knowledge and familiarity with both the Men's and Women's game
    • Ability to maintain team discipline and instill proper ethical and moral standards
    • Demonstrated knowledge of basic coaching/team principles
    • Ability to effectively coordinate recruiting activities

    Strong preference for those with:

    • Playing experience at the collegiate level
    • Knowledge of NAIA and KCAC Rules
    • Previous coaching experience (College, High School or Club)

    Required skills and traits:

    • Experience uploading, editing and analyzing game film
    • Great interpersonal skills
    • Operate team social media accounts
