Assistant Laboratory Director Job Details:
- Full-time, Temporary-to-Permanent employment opportunity
- Initial travel duration: 13-weeks
- Great laboratory leadership and administration team!
- Assistant Laboratory Director collaborates with the Director to plan, organize, and oversee Laboratory Services operations while ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations
- Monitors Point-of-Care (POC) testing activities, prepares compliance reports, and provides follow-up and support to nursing departments to ensure adherence to established standards and requirements
- Develops and maintains staff schedules and adjusts staffing assignments as needed to meet workload demands and operational needs
- Assists with departmental in-service education, staff training, and ongoing professional development initiatives
Assistant Laboratory Director Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree at minimum
- Must have ASCP, AMT, AAB certification
- Expertise is all clinical areas with supervisor licensures (Microbiology, Serology/Immunology, Clinical Chemistry, Hematology and Immunohematology)
- Must have at least 1 year of laboratory leadership experience
