Assistant Kitchen Manager

We are looking for a kitchen assistant manager who is friendly, enthusiastic, and genuinely enjoys serving guests. To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:

• Leader in the kitchen with working knowledge of kitchen operations
• Managing inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked for service
• Hiring new staff and providing training to facilitate quick acclimation
• Streamlining the kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times
• Working with the head chef to develop and maintain the restaurant menu
• Setting regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifying that staff is maintaining sanitation levels
• Creating schedules for all kitchen staff
• Tracking kitchen finances to identify areas of potential waste

Applicants will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary. Prior experience is preferred, but not necessary.
