Assistant II, Administration - Onsite

Job Description: Under general direction, provides general administrative and operational support to a department or group of sales professionals and managers. Exercises considerable discretion and independent judgment and is capable of analyzing complex information requests, identifying trends, and developing solutions to improve departmental efficiency, sales performance, and overall business effectiveness.
This position requires knowledge acquired through experience, specialized education, or training, including proficiency with Power BI and the Microsoft Office Suite to analyze sales data, create reports and dashboards, track performance metrics, monitor sales activity, and support business planning and decision-making. The role requires an understanding of sales terminology, processes, and performance metrics, including sales targets, quotas, forecasts, pipeline activity, case volume, revenue, growth, attainment, and other key performance indicators.
The position works closely with sales representatives, sales managers, and leadership to coordinate business activities, communicate priorities, provide reporting and data insights, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of administrative and sales-related tasks. Serves as a key point of contact for representatives and managers and facilitates communication between sales teams and internal departments.
The position supports sales operations and event planning, including coordinating sales meetings, training sessions, team events, customer-facing events, recognition programs, and other departmental activities. Responsibilities may include coordinating logistics, communications, schedules, materials, attendee information, and follow-up activities.
Strong organizational, project management, and time-management skills are required to effectively manage multiple priorities, deadlines, sales initiatives, events, and administrative responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. The role is expected to identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting and data visibility, and increase efficiency across the sales organization.
The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks, as well as established guidelines to aid in decision making. The job should possess a good knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the range of sales processes, procedures, systems, reporting tools, and business applications used in carrying out assigned tasks, along with a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. The knowledge can be acquired through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience.
The job works within well-defined procedures that may involve a variety of work routines and requires the ability to independently prioritize work, analyze sales information, recognize trends, communicate effectively with sales personnel and leadership, and adapt to changing business needs. This job typically requires a minimum of 3 or more years of relevant experience.
