Assistant Housekeeping Manager
Glacier International Lodge | Kalispell, MT
Glacier International Lodge is seeking a hands-on Assistant Housekeeping Manager to help lead our housekeeping team and keep our guest rooms and public areas clean, comfortable, and ready for arrival. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting a team, solving problems, and taking pride in the details guests notice.
What you’ll do
- Support the Housekeeping Manager with daily assignments, staffing, and room priorities.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and maintenance needs.
- Train and coach housekeepers and laundry staff on hotel standards and safe work practices.
- Help clean rooms and assist with laundry when needed to keep the day on track.
- Track supplies, report maintenance issues, and coordinate with the front desk on room status.
- Step in to lead the department when the Housekeeping Manager is away.
What we’re looking for
- Hotel housekeeping experience; lead or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication.
- A dependable, supportive approach to leading a team.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to perform the physical duties of housekeeping, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing a housekeeping cart.
