Job Description: My Gym is seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Director to support our children’s fitness programs. In this role, you will assist in overseeing daily operations, manage staff, and help create an engaging environment for children and their families. Job Summary: The Assistant Gym Director plays a vital role in supporting the Gym Director in managing the day-to-day operations of the My Gym location. You will ensure the highest quality of service for both children and their families while fostering a positive and engaging environment. This leadership position requires a balance of business management, team leadership, and exceptional customer service skills. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for childhood development and a commitment to growing our community of families.Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations (administrative duties)
- Train, coach, and mentor instructors
- Lead classes and events
- Support enrollment, retention, and parent communication
- Assist with local marketing initiatives
- Manage and contribute to social media content
- Maintain My Gym brand standards and safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Childcare Experience: Proven experience working with young children in an organized play setting
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership or management experience, with the abilityto motivate and guide a team
- Team-Oriented: Strong willingness to collaborate and contribute as a dedicated teamplayer
- Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with staff,parents, and guests
- Physical Capability: Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Endurance: Capacity to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours) while fulfilling jobresponsibilities

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
