The Assistant Professional is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations in the golf shop, assisting with the organization of golf tournaments/leagues as well as conducting lessons and fitting sessions for members. The Assistant Professional also serves as one of the first points of contact for members and guests, providing exceptional customer service while assisting with golf operations, tee time management, merchandise sales, and day-to-day Pro Shop activities. Compensation
The Assistant Professional is compensated through a bi-weekly salary ranging from $1,750 - $1,900 for a standard 35-hour work week in the pro-shop. Compensation will be determined at the time of hire and may be reviewed periodically based on performance, responsibilities assumed, and length of service. All hours worked will be compensated in accordance with the provisions of the Ontario Employment Standards Act, 2000.
The Assistant Professional will typically be scheduled to work 35-hours per week in the pro-shop, completing league/tournament duties, and scheduling. Must have availability to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work schedule subject to change based on tournament and special event periods. The Assistant Professional will additionally earn 100% of all lesson/clinic revenues. Time to run lessons, clinics and playing with members is not included in the 35-hour work week.
