Position Summary
Lead and support student-athletes through skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and academic responsibility while promoting a positive culture within Cadott Athletics.
Essential Responsibilities
Plan and lead organized practices that teach age-appropriate skills, strategies, and safe participation.
Establish clear expectations for attendance, effort, behavior, and teamwork.
Supervise student-athletes during practices, competitions, travel, and team activities.
Follow district safety procedures, report injuries and concerns, and follow athletic training guidance.
Support academic success, eligibility expectations, leadership, and character development.
Communicate schedules, expectations, and updates through district-approved platforms.
Maintain equipment, uniforms, rosters, and required records.
Work collaboratively with coaches, staff, families, and the Athletic Director.
Follow district and athletic association requirements and complete required training.
Perform additional duties appropriate to the coaching assignment.
Qualifications
Knowledge of the sport and ability to teach student-athletes of varying skill levels.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Commitment to student safety, academic success, and positive sportsmanship.
Completion of required screening, certifications, and training.
Previous coaching experience preferred.
