Assistant General Manager

D1 Training Westborough is seeking a sales-driven Assistant General Manager to grow memberships, build community partnerships, and lead sales execution. This hands-on role is ideal for a confident closer who actively generates leads, builds relationships, and turns consultations into memberships.

Qualifications

Required

• Sales experience with a history of meeting or exceeding goals

• Strong closing, follow-up, and relationship-building skills

• Confidence generating leads through calls, referrals, and community outreach

• Connection to sports, fitness, or youth athletics through work, coaching, or community involvement

• Strong communication, organization, and accountability

• Comfortable using CRM software and tracking sales performance

Preferred

• Established relationships with Westborough-area families, schools, coaches, or sports organizations

• Experience selling fitness memberships, personal training, or other consultative services

• Sales leadership or team coaching experience

• Background as an athlete, coach, or volunteer coach

Responsibilities

• Own the sales process from lead generation and follow-up through consultation and close

• Sell memberships, personal training, and specialty programs

• Build partnerships with local schools, teams, businesses, and community organizations

• Drive referrals, local outreach, and membership growth

• Track appointments, show rates, close rates, and revenue in the CRM

• Support team sales performance and consistent follow-up

• Partner with the General Manager on member retention, daily operations, and facility goals

• Base salary plus commission and performance bonuses
