Assistant General Manager Pikeville KY

Job Summary:
The Assistant General Manager at VP Management will work alongside the General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and overall success of our Pikeville, KY location. This individual contributor role is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive pay rate of $12 to $15 per hour, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of the Pikeville location, including but not limited to: sales, customer service, inventory management, and employee supervision.
- Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed and enforced by all employees.
- Utilize excellent leadership skills to motivate and coach team members, driving them to meet and surpass sales goals.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing and resolving any issues or complaints efficiently and effectively.
- Oversee inventory levels and ordering to ensure that the store is adequately stocked at all times.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist in conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to increase store revenue and profitability.
- Uphold and promote a positive and inclusive work culture at all times.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Knowledge of retail operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and employee supervision.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
