WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead and manage all front-of-house and back-of-house operations in partnership with the General Manager and Marlin Bar Chef.
  • Maintain a culture of professionalism, accountability, and operational discipline.
  • Assume full operational responsibility in the absence of the General Manager.
  • Exercise independent judgment to resolve operational, staffing, and guest service issues in compliance with Tommy Bahama policy.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and development planning.
  • Participate in hiring, interviewing, selection, promotion, disciplinary action, and termination decisions.
  • Establish schedules and deliver structured training programs for new hires and ongoing team development.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of elevated guest experience for both internal (team members) and external guests.
  • Support achievement of sales, profitability, and labor targets.
  • Management of bar ordering and inventory management.
  • Participate in workforce planning and staffing strategies.
  • Execute company initiatives, seasonal launches, and brand programs.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
  • Promote collaboration between front and back of house teams.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
  • Bending/stooping/kneeling required - frequently
  • Routine standing for duration of shift
  • Safely Maneuvering the following types of equipment or machinery: Hand cart, blenders, knives, slices, wine keys and other tools provided to complete work
  • Scheduled shifts determined by business needs
