Assistant General Manager @ I-Drive Hotel

About the role The Assistant General Manager oversees hotel operations, with a focus on Front Office, Housekeeping, and Revenue Management. You'll lead the department teams, protect guest satisfaction, and serve as a senior manager on duty.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Front Office and Housekeeping operations to ensure smooth daily service and high standards of cleanliness
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all departments and positions
• Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate department managers and staff
• Support revenue management: monitor rates, occupancy, and forecasts, and help set pricing and distribution strategy
• Manage labor costs, supplies, and departmental budgets
• Handle guest concerns and service recovery promptly
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety, and hotel policies
• Prepare operational and financial reports for hotel leadership

Must-Have Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Front Office Manager experience
• Hands-on experience in Housekeeping operations
• Proven supervisory and team leadership experience
• Working knowledge of revenue management principles and tools

Additional Qualifications

• Proficiency with a property management system (PMS)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Please note: Candidates without Front Office management experience will not be considered.

• Salary range: $55,000 – $65,000 per year
