The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in providing operational leadership for the Hope Lodge. This role focuses on day-to-day operational oversight, guest relations, and administrative functions. The Assistant GM mentors team members, ensures compliance with ACS standards, and contributes to a welcoming and safe lodge environment.Pay: Starting salary is approximately $55,700 annually, with some flexibility based on experience and internal equity.
Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday daytime hours, generally around 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM. As a salaried management role, some schedule flexibility is required based on Lodge needs.
On-Call: This position participates in a management on-call rotation and may occasionally need to respond to guest, staffing, or facility emergencies after hours.

Leadership Focus: This role is primarily responsible for people management and day-to-day Lodge operations, including supervising Concierge/Night Lead staff, supporting volunteers, and coordinating with referral partners.
About the Lodge: The Charleston Hope Lodge is the first Hope Lodge in the country and is a smaller, close-knit 18-room Lodge with several long-tenured team members.
Priority: This is a high-priority opening, and qualified candidates will move through the interview process quickly.
