Concord Hospitality is seeking an exceptional Assistant General Manager to join the opening leadership team at The Beckworth, a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel debuting in Uptown Charlotte later this year. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality leader to help shape the culture, guest experience, and operational success of a landmark new property from day one. Partnering closely with the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager will provide strategic and hands-on leadership across all hotel operations, driving exceptional guest and associate engagement, strong financial results, and revenue growth.

As a key member of the property leadership team, the Assistant General Manager will help launch and lead all facets of hotel operations while creating an exceptional experience for both guests and associates. Working alongside the General Manager, this leader will champion operational excellence, financial performance, revenue optimization, service culture, and team development.  From opening-day preparations to long-term success, the Assistant General Manager will help drive strategic initiatives, elevate guest satisfaction, and deliver strong returns for ownership. This role requires a hands-on leader who can inspire teams, solve challenges with confidence, and bring The Beckworth culture to life across every department and guest touchpoint.

Together with their team, they will bring brand and company initiatives to life, execute property-wide strategies, and create memorable guest experiences that consistently exceed expectations. Responsibilities:

  • Manages the day to day operation of the property ensuring compliance in brand and company standards
  • Manages, mentors and coaches their leadership team that reports to them
  • Ensures accountability for property performance, including financial, service optimization, guest and employee satisfaction
  • Maintains current licenses and permits as prescribed by local, state, and federal agencies
  • Provides a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA/MSDS
  • Ensures compliance with all corporate accounting procedures
  • Covers departmental leadership shifts as needed, including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ensures each department has accurate and complete inventory and all supplies are maintained
  • Assists and approves department managers’ scheduling against guest and hours/occupied room goals
  • Assists team supervisors and managers with constructive coaching and counseling
  • Focused on guest satisfaction scores and strategies for improvement
  • Provides excellent customer service by being readily available/approachable for all guests
  • Assists managers in proactive hiring and ensures appropriate staffing levels in all areas

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 - 7 years of hospitality management experience, in a full-service hotel environment
  • Previous experience in a hotel opening operating environment
  • Strong leadership and team development skills that coach a team in a high performance environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
  • Proven track record in guest satisfaction and employee engagement
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, budgets, and financial reporting
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
