    Job Description

    We are currently seeking a new team member as an Assistant Front Office Manager at Orlando Airport Marriott Lakeside.

    Our property, located by one of the busiest airports in the country, offers 485 guest rooms , approximately 30,000 square feet meeting space along with resort-like amenities such as an outdoor pool, pool bar and several food and beverage outlets including a full service restaurant, coffee shop and a concierge lounge reserved for our valued frequent travelers and VIP guests.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in managing daily front office operations including guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and concierge services.
    • Lead, train, and motivate front office staff to provide outstanding guest service and maintain Marriott brand standards.
    • Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
    • Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
    • Monitor front office financial transactions and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
    • Ensure compliance with Marriott policies, procedures, and safety standards.
    • Support the Front Office Manager in administrative tasks and reporting.
    • Assist in staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations of front office team members.

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in front office operations, preferably in a hotel environment.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to handle guest complaints with professionalism and tact.
    • Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
    • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
    • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
