Job Summary
The Seasonal Part-Time Assistant Football Coach is primarily responsible for assisting the Head Football Coach in individual player development, skill instruction and supervision, and mentoring of student-athletes in their athletic and academic success. Additional responsibilities include assisting with organization and supervision of team activities and practices; participating in recruiting activities under the direction of the head coach; and logistical support of team operations related to travel and meals.
All coaches are expected to advance the mission of the department of athletics to provide an environment that supports the academic and personal achievement of student-athletes. Coaches at Delaware Valley University serve as educators and mentors who promote athletic achievement, personal growth and development of skills for life through the experiential learning of sport.
Coaches are expected to work cooperatively within the athletic department, the student affairs division, and across the entire Delaware Valley community to realize goals in support of student success and university goals and mission.

Selected applicants will be responsible for providing the University with clearances, appropriate to the position, that have been completed within the last 5 years. These clearances include, but are not limited to the Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Fingerprints completed by IDENTGO, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History clearance.
