Description

Concord Hospitality is seeking a passionate and results-driven Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to help lead our Food & Beverage operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This position supports the Director of Food & Beverage in overseeing daily restaurant, beverage, and banquet operations while developing associates, maintaining high service standards, and driving strong financial performance.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist with the daily leadership and operation of restaurant, beverage, and banquet services.

  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences through quality food and beverage, friendly service, cleanliness, and consistency.

  • Lead, train, coach, and develop Food & Beverage associates while promoting teamwork and accountability.

  • Assist with scheduling, staffing levels, payroll, performance management, and labor cost controls.

  • Work closely with culinary leadership to ensure food quality, presentation, and timely service.

  • Support banquet operations by ensuring events are properly staffed, set, serviced, refreshed, and executed according to BEO and guest expectations.

  • Participate in BEO meetings, daily huddles, and Food & Beverage meetings to ensure strong communication across departments.

  • Maintain open communication between Food & Beverage leadership, associates, Sales, Culinary, Front Office, and other hotel departments.

  • Monitor restaurant, bar/lounge, and banquet operations to ensure service standards and operational checklists are consistently followed.

  • Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, liquor laws, company policies, and brand standards.

  • Assist with controlling departmental expenses, labor, purchasing, and other operating costs while supporting revenue and profitability goals.

  • Identify opportunities to improve service, increase revenue, and enhance the overall guest experience.

  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, evaluating, and coaching Food & Beverage associates.

  • Respond quickly and professionally to guest concerns and operational challenges.

  • Support the Director of Food & Beverage with additional departmental responsibilities and initiatives as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous Food & Beverage, restaurant, banquet, or hospitality leadership experience required.

  • Experience in a full-service hotel or restaurant environment preferred.

  • Proven ability to lead, train, coach, and motivate a diverse team.

  • Strong understanding of guest service and Food & Beverage operations.

  • Knowledge of labor management, cost controls, food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple Food & Beverage outlets and priorities.

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

  • Detail-oriented, hands-on, and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
