We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARYThe Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the successful execution of food & beverage and event operations by providing on-site leadership during assigned events. This position helps supervise team members, supports concessions and operational needs, coordinates event-day staffing and shift responsibilities, and helps ensure a clean, safe, and guest-focused environment. The role also serves as a key operational contact during events and assists with opening and closing procedures, event support, and inventory responsibilities as needed.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Serve as the on-site manager during assigned eventsEnsure Food & Beverage and Operations team members are performing assigned duties efficiently and professionallySupervise staff throughout events and provide guidance as neededCoordinate employee lunch and rest breaks to maintain proper staffing levelsAssign and monitor pre-shift and post-shift responsibilitiesStep in to assist with concession stand operations when neededPerform janitorial or facility support tasks as necessary to ensure a clean and welcoming environmentServe as the main operational contact for event directors during eventsOpen the facility before events and secure/close the venue after eventsMonitor facility cleanliness, safety, and guest experience throughout eventsAddress customer questions or concerns in a professional and timely mannerEnsure staff follow company policies, procedures, and safety standardsAssist with setup and breakdown of events as neededComplete shift reports and communicate operational updates to managementHelp identify and resolve operational issues before they impact guests or eventsAssist with inventory counts and inventory management as responsibilities expandPerform other duties as assigned by managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Must be at least 21 years old1-3 years of culinary experience2-4 years of food & beverage management experience Food Manager Safety Certification, Safe Serve Certification, or similar certification (or willing to obtain upon employment)CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain upon employment)Requires good communication skills, both verbal and writtenMust have strong leadership skillsMust be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skillsAbility to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentMust be able to work irregular shifts to include nights, weekends, holidays as neededProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift 50 poundsMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time indoors and outdoorsFacility has intermittent noise
