Workout Anytime | Fitness Leadership Development Track
Read this before you apply.
We are acquiring and developing Workout Anytime clubs with the goal of becoming one of the largest franchise groups in the country. We need fitness leaders who can sell personal training, produce results, develop coaches, and eventually own an entire department.
This position begins as an Assistant Fitness Director with a fast track toward Fitness Director.
Assistant Fitness Director Fitness Director Multi Club Fitness Leadership Regional Leadership
Advancement is earned through production, leadership, and consistency. If you can build a client base, convert consultations into training clients, deliver results, and help other coaches become productive, we want to give you more responsibility quickly.
What You Will Do
You will work directly with club leadership to grow the personal training department, including:
• Conducting fitness consultations and assessments
• Selling personal training programs
• Building and servicing your own client base
• Generating leads and booking consultations
• Following up with prospects and former clients
• Driving personal training revenue
• Tracking sales, sessions, retention, and other KPIs
• Coaching trainers on sales, service, and production
• Helping recruit, onboard, and develop coaches
• Creating activity when appointments are slow
• Delivering measurable client results
You are not being hired only to train sessions.
You are being developed to build and lead a profitable personal training department.
The Standard
We want a producer who can lead from the front.
Someone who can understand what a prospect needs, confidently recommend the right program, and ask for the sale.
Someone who knows their numbers, follows up consistently, accepts coaching, and takes ownership when performance falls short.
Before you lead trainers, you must prove that you can produce. Before you own the department, you must prove that you can help others produce too.
Required Experience
Applicants must have:
• Experience working in a gym or personal training environment
• Experience selling personal training or coaching services
• The ability to conduct consultations and close training agreements
• Knowledge of personal training KPIs
• A nationally accredited certification such as NASM, ACE, ISSA, or equivalent
• Strong communication, follow up, and relationship-building skills
• The willingness to prospect, make calls, work leads, and ask for referrals
• The work ethic required to build a meaningful client base
Leadership experience is preferred, but you do not need to have already been a Fitness Director. You do need evidence that you can sell, coach, and perform.
Compensation and Growth
This position includes base compensation plus significant performance-based earning opportunities.
You will be compensated for your personal production, including training revenue and personal training sales. As your responsibility grows, your compensation and leadership opportunity grow with it.
Our goal is to move the right person into a Fitness Director role as soon as they demonstrate the required sales, production, client retention, leadership, and operational metrics.
As we add locations, successful Fitness Directors will have opportunities to move into multi club and regional fitness leadership.
Who Should Apply
Apply if you love fitness, know how to sell personal training, want to develop people, and are motivated by performance-based compensation.
If you only want to train sessions and wait for clients to be handed to you, this is not the right opportunity.
If you want to build a department, lead a team, and grow with an expanding company, we should talk.
