    2nd Shift, 3:15 PM - 1:15 AMJob Summary
    Assist inefficientand accurate mixing, blending, and cooking of raw ingredients.May be required perform any additional responsibilities assigned by leadership. In the event of absence,the positionwill be filled by adequately trained personnel. 
    Duties/Responsibilities
    • Assist Blender Operator(s) with the efficient and accurate processingof finished food grade products, on the processing lines, and/or at periodic times. 
    • Assists withSet up / break down of equipment as needed. 
    • Check-in ingredients,matching them to the recipe. Communicate any discrepancies to theBlender Operator(s),Supervisor/Lead,and expeditor. 
    • Follows the recipe with no deviations(proper mixing of slurries,etc....).
    • Assists withrun tests, to ensure product meets viscosity & sensory requirements before filling process. 
    • Ability to learn how to operate and adjust multiple in-line pieces of processing equipment.
    • Assists with lifting in variety of areas/lines.
    • Communicates effectively with peers and FSQA tomeet quality standards, efficient processing, including prep delays.
    • Able to Identify ingredients – bases, diced vs. sliced, etc.….
    • Other responsibilities w/ similar skill and work conditions as assigned.  
    • Operatingequipment 
    • Safely operate varioustypes of equipment. 
    • Safely operate forklifts, manual and / or electric pallet jacks. (Plant Certification) 
    • Must be LOTO (Lockout / Tagout) Certified 
    • Miscellaneous Responsibilities  
    • Attend Training that is made available in relation to job description 
    • Ability to train new staff within the department if needed
    Responsibilities for Food& PeopleSafety 
    • Responsible for completing required paperwork accurately and honestly as applicable. 
    • Must adhere to all corporate GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and all Food and Employee Safety policies. 
    • Must adhere to all Allergen control programs and procedures as applicable. 
      • Responsible for reporting suspicious packages, activities, and individuals.
      • If monitoring CCPs (Critical Control Points), must be trained in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and adhere tothe approvedHACCP plan(s). 
      Required Skills/Abilities

      • Written and verbal communication skills. English required.  
      • Basic problem-solving skills 
      • Basictime management skills

      • Basicat multitasking.  
      • Ability to prioritize tasks. 
      • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. 
      • Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use PDTs (Datalinks), Digital HMI Screens/Chart Recorders
