    Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Manages 8 to 10 subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 1 to 5 employees in the construction project.
    • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.
    • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
    • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
    • Responsible for construction field installation activities with an emphasis on labor productivity, quality and timely installations, and employee morale. This requires close coordination with project and division managers.
    • Responsible for jobsite safety.

    Qualifications:
    • Read and interpret documents, as well as write routine reports and correspondence.
    • Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
    • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exits.
    • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form, as well as read blueprints.
    • Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamental of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
    • Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
    • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
    • Six months to one-year related experience and/or training. Equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Commercial/industrial plumbing, pipefitting, HVAC experience required.
