Assistant Fencing Coach

Summary

Ridge High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our athletics program as an Assistant Fencing Coach for the upcoming season. This seasonal position is ideal for someone who is passionate about the sport of fencing and is eager to support the development of student-athletes. The Assistant Fencing Coach will work closely with the Head Coach to enhance the skills of our team members, promote sportsmanship, and contribute to a positive and competitive team environment.

Requirements

• Must have valid NJ Teaching Certification or Substitute Certificate.

Previous experience in fencing, either as a competitor or coach, is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of fencing techniques, rules, and strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Head Coach and other staff members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Current certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
• Must be available for practices, competitions, and team events throughout the fencing season.
• Background check will be required prior to employment.
