Founded in 1952 by E.E. Walpole II, Walpole, Inc. is still a family-owned and operated business. Our company began with one man and a single truck and has spread over the southeastern United States to four terminals: Okeechobee, Tampa, West Palm Beach and Birmingham. Even though we have grown as a company, our values and approach to business have remained the same. We believe this is a reason why we are still doing business with some of E.E. Walpole, II’s original customers.

While we value tradition we have realized the advantage of technology for today’s transportation industry. By utilizing mobile communication devices, auto-shift transmissions, and custom engine calibrations we are driving smarter. With fuel-efficient tires and SCR technology for diesel emission control, we are driving cleaner. Balancing technology and practicality we have found efficiency.

We are now in our 4^th generation of being a family-owned and operated business. With new, reliable equipment, experienced dispatchers, and safe drivers we are a dependable carrier who plans to be around for many more generations.
