Volt is immediately hiring for an Direct HireAssistant Engineer Land Development in Santa Clarita CA.As an AssistantEngineer you will Assist with engineering and drafting activities for civil engineering projects. Apply established engineering principles standards and procedures to assigned work. Prepare and revise drawings plans and project documentation using CADD software. Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables. Support project teams by researching and evaluating engineering alternatives. Collaborate with senior engineers to develop technical knowledge and project experience. Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities. Maintain project documentation and meet established deadlines.This is a full-time direct hire opportunity.The ideal candidate will haveRequired Skills & Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university. Strong understanding of engineering principles mathematics and design concepts. Experience using CADD and standard engineering software. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Basic understanding of engineering drawings graphics standards and technical documentation. Knowledge of QAQC processes and attention to detail. Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills.Preferred Skills & Qualifications Engineer-in-Training EIT certification or successful completion of the FEEIT examination. Internship co-op or academic project experience related to civil engineering.
