Assistant Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Engineer to support the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of software applications and technical systems. This role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience who are eager to learn and grow in a collaborative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in developing, testing, and maintaining applications and systems.

• Support software development, debugging, and troubleshooting activities.

• Participate in requirement analysis and technical discussions.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Perform unit testing and assist in resolving defects.

• Monitor application performance and report issues.

• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and implementation notes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product teams.

• Follow coding standards, development processes, and best practices.

• Continuously learn new technologies and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.

• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.

• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, .NET, or React.

• Basic knowledge of REST APIs.

• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Knowledge of testing tools and debugging techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 0–2 years of experience in software development or engineering support.

• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

• Good academic background and technical aptitude.
