We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Engineer to support the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of software applications and technical systems. This role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience who are eager to learn and grow in a collaborative engineering environment.
Assist senior engineers in developing, testing, and maintaining applications and systems.
Support software development, debugging, and troubleshooting activities.
Participate in requirement analysis and technical discussions.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Perform unit testing and assist in resolving defects.
Monitor application performance and report issues.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and implementation notes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product teams.
Follow coding standards, development processes, and best practices.
Continuously learn new technologies and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Exposure to frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, .NET, or React.
Basic knowledge of REST APIs.
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of testing tools and debugging techniques.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in software development or engineering support.
Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Good academic background and technical aptitude.
