    ASSISTANT DRAMA COACH

    SUPERVISOR: Activities Director & Building Principal

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education, License or Formal Training:

    1. Possess all certificates required for the State of Wyoming.

    Knowledge, Skills and Mental Ability:

    1. Have a fundamental knowledge of the activity.

    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT AND HOURS OF DUTY: As per district policy.

    JOB SUMMARY: Assist in the production of a student dramatic/musical production and to follow the policies and procedures of Park County School District 6.

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Fall Play (Oct/Nov)

    State Drama (Beginning of December)

    Spring Play (March)

    1. Supervise play production areas as assigned by the Play/Musical Director.

    2. Help with preparation of rehearsal schedules, costume designs, set designs, etc.

    3. Help with arrangements for borrowing proper, furniture, costumes, etc.

    4. Help with auditions and selections of cast and crew.

    5. Help with rehearsals and show performances.

    6. Recommend facility maintenance and improvements.

    7. Assume responsibility for the general upkeep and protection of equipment and materials associates with the activity, when the activity is in progress.

    8. Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding the progress and development of the program.

    9. Prepare a verbal annual report highlighting the activity accomplishments, participation levels and recommendations for improvement of the activity.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    1. Must be able to sit, stand and walk without fatigue and discomfort.

    2. Must be able to lift 25 pounds and push or pull 50 pounds.

    3. Must be able to be heard up to 50 feet.

    EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be determined in accordance with provisions of the evaluation policy and procedures of the Board of Education.
