    Job Description

    POSITION TITLE: General Felony ADA

    LOCATION: District Attorney's Office, Cleveland County Courthouse

    STATUS: Full-Time

    CLOSING: Open Until Filled

    SALARY: Commensurate with Experience

    BENEFITS: Full State of Oklahoma benefits including generous monthly allowance for health coverage, Paid sick and vacation leave earned monthly, Paid holidays, Longevity compensation after 2 years of service

    POSITION SUMMARY: Review incoming law enforcement reports to determine viability of filing criminal charges

    Evaluate assigned cases for prosecutorial merit and possible plea negotiations

    Research and write legal motions

    Competently, expeditiously and professionally handle all assigned court appearances

    Prepare and conduct jury trials

    Continually develop, maintain and improve all skills necessary to perform daily prosecutorial duties

    REQUIREMENTS: Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school

    Admitted to and in good standing with the Oklahoma Bar Association

    Must have knowledge and experience with courtroom trial and procedures related to criminal law

    Minimum 2 years of prosecution experience required
