Description: Assistant Director - Special Education (K-12)
Job Summary: The ASSISTANT DIRECTOR - SPECIAL EDUCATION (K-12) provides district-level leadership and support for the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of special education
services across Pre-K12. This role supports district administrators and staff in maintaining compliance with federal and state mandates, strengthening instructional practices, and
ensuring continuity between assessment, individualized programming, and classroom implementation. The Assistant Director serves as a key instructional and compliance partner
to building leadership and special education staff.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid Ohio Department of Education licensure in special education or educational administration
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in special education, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities
Valid Ohio driver's license
Working Conditions: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week and 260 days per year based on a school year calendar, 1 FTE.
