The Department of Materials Science and Engineering seeks a dynamic and experienced student services professional to join our team as an Assistant Director of Student Services. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the academic and personal success of our undergraduates, graduate students, and postdoctoral scholars. With minimal oversight, you will identify and resolve a wide range of multi-dimensional student issues, using independent judgment and professional knowledge to interpret and implement Stanford and Department policies. Collaborating closely with faculty, staff, and various campus partners, you will provide services, guidance, resources, and advocacy to ensure that our students thrive. You will serve as a trusted advisor, assisting students and postdocs to navigate the complexities of academic planning, admission, financial aid, registration, visa services, career counseling, community standards, and opportunities across Stanford. You will also support the Department's operations as a whole through program event planning, curriculum maintenance, and financial transactions. The position will report to the Director of Student and Academic Services and work closely with the Administrative Assistant for Student Services. Pay Range:
The expected pay range for this position is $94,998 to $112,502 per annum.
