The Division of Student Affairs creates co-curricular opportunities for student engagement that strive to build community through events, leadership training, and campus-wide student engagement activities. Student activities are organized to create an atmosphere of self-directed learning and opportunities for encountering diverse cultures, beliefs, and lifestyles, with an emphasis on program variety and service.
Under the direction and leadership of the Director of Student Leadership & Residential Life, the Assistant Director provides live-in, day-to-day direction for community development, Resident Assistant (RA) supervision and programming, and student leadership development within the residential setting. The Assistant Director collaborates on the planning and implementation of the student life program as well as the residential life program and occupancy management. The Assistant Director of Residential Life serves as an integral part of the student life team in advancing the Colleges commitment to student engagement, student success and retention, equity and inclusion, and student leadership.

Physical Work Environment:
Ability to work in a standard office setting, use standard office equipment and physically attend meetings both on and off campus, ability to communicate in person or through appropriate means. Ability to work weekends and evenings when appropriate or needed is required.
Terms of Employment:
This is a full-time administrative/exempt annually contracted position with initial salary placement determined by the College dependent upon education/experience. Hiring of this position is contingent upon available funding as determined by the College President.

PART-TIME FACULTY POSITIONS
A part time faculty member becomes eligible for benefits at the beginning of the second consecutive quarter of half time or more employment at one or more Washington state institutions of higher education. Spring and fall quarters are considered consecutive quarters for benefits eligibility. Half time is determined based on each institutions definition of full time.
A part time faculty member must qualify each quarter they teach to maintain eligibility. Once eligible, part time faculty will be notified of their benefit and retirement options.
