Assistant Director of Parks, Recreation & Tourism

Provides executive leadership for departmental divisions through the supervision of division leadership; oversees budget administration, contract management, capital improvement projects, strategic initiatives, and performance measurement; coordinates activities with other City departments, community organizations, and external agencies; provides complex administrative support to the Director; serves as Acting Director in the Director's absence; and performs other related duties as assigned. Under the administrative direction of the Director of Parks, Recreation & Tourism, assists in planning, directing, and evaluating the operations, programs, services, and administrative functions of the Parks, Recreation & Tourism Department.
