Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for assisting the Parking Director in managing parking operation for SUNY Upstate. The Assistant Director of Parking Services is responsible for but note limited to: the supervising contracted staff, coordinating shuttle schedules, assisting in development of optimal shuttle routs, assisting with employee parking assignments, supervise valet services and respond to inquiries from employees to managers and general public in a professional and customer focused manner. Develop service standards related to customer service and communication, identify opportunities for staff development through educational programs and micro credentials. Develop strong working relationships with Community Administration, Physical Plant, University Police, Clinical & Nursing leaders, Campus leaders and employees. The Assistant Director of Parking Services will be located on the SUNY Upstate Community Campus and will be responsible for daily operation of parking and shuttle service at Community & satellite locations servicing Community employees.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor''s Degree and 2 years of related experience in parking operations or an equivalent combination of education and experiance. Strong written & verbal skills, customer service experience, organizational skills, ability to multi task.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor''s Degree and 4 years of related experience in large complex parking operations or an equivalent combination of education and experiance. Experience managing budget and expenses, strong written & verbal skills, customer service experience, supervisory experience, organizational skills, ability to multi task.

Work Days:

Monday -Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm
