Position Summary:

The Assistant Director of Operations supports the Director of Operations in managing organizational workflows, improving efficiency, and driving cross-department execution through process improvement and AI-enabled automation.

Position Details:

  • Location: Northbrook, IL
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday on-site.
  • Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily operational oversight across departments
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and special projects
  • Monitor organizational KPIs and operational performance
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement solutions
  • Support leadership in execution of strategic initiatives
  • Standardize workflows and operational procedures
  • Coordinate with department leaders to ensure execution alignment
  • Additional duties as assigned

AI & Automation Requirement

  • Must implement AI-driven workflow automation across departments
  • Responsible for identifying operational bottlenecks and automating processes
  • Expected to build dashboards and AI-assisted reporting systems
  • Must integrate AI tools into daily operational decision-making and project execution

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • 7–10 years of operations or business management experience
  • 3+ years in leadership or project management role
  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong KPI, reporting, and performance management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Healthcare Admin, or related field

AI Requirement:

  • Proven experience implementing process automation or AI-driven workflow improvements
  • Ability to design dashboards and data-driven operational systems
