As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you will assist with planning and supervising the twenty-four-hour operation of the facility to ensure the delivery of quality resident care. This position is responsible for the oversight of an assigned unit within the center’s 24-hour operation and ensuring consistent and quality clinical care for all residents. This position acts as a resident advocate by managing resident care as well as hiring, guiding, developing, and evaluating your nursing team. You will be empowered to assess the needs and implement care as you deem necessary utilizing the latest in technology and being a part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

You will earn:  Sign On Bonus up to $15,000 for Full Time! This bonus is to be paid out in monthly installments of $1250.00 for the candidate's first twelve months of employment.

How you will help people every day:

• You will supervise the nursing team including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.
• You will conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• You will instruct the team regarding the skilled care process and function as a resource person for clinical issues
• You will ensure the completion of requested reports, i.e., infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management, etc.

Qualifications that you will need to be part of our EPIC team:

• Graduation from an accredited professional nursing program with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree, or higher, and a superior level of knowledge in nursing management in order to manage resident care, and manage large and diverse groups of nursing personnel.
• Current license to practice as an RN Registered Nurse in Michigan; current CPR-BLS certification
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
