We're preparing for upcoming Assistant Director of Nursing opportunities with skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities on Long Island.

As ADON, you partner with the DON on daily nursing operations and lead the department when the DON is out. You lead clinical audits and incident investigations, track falls, pressure injuries, infections and hospitalizations through QAPI, build the education program your nurses actually use, and mentor RNs, LPNs and CNAs.

• $120,000 to $140,000 base salary, set by the hiring facility based on experience

• Full-time, on site, day shift

Who will love this role

• An RN with a current New York State license
• 2 to 3 years of nursing leadership in skilled nursing or long-term care
• Working knowledge of CMS and NY DOH regulations and QAPI
• Infection prevention training is a plus
