We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to join a skilled nursing organization in Laconia, NH. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong nursing leader who is passionate about providing exceptional resident care and supporting clinical teams.
In this role, you will:
• Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department
• Support and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality resident care and regulatory compliance
• Help coordinate staffing, scheduling, and clinical coverage
• Participate in hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management of nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident care plans and outcomes
• Assist with audits, quality assurance, and infection control initiatives
Qualifications:
• Active RN license required
• Minimum 2+ years of nursing supervisory experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting
• Prior leadership experience as a Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, Assistant Director of Nursing, or similar role preferred
• Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations for long-term care
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to motivate and support a clinical team in a fast-paced environment
