Position Summary:
The College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Assistant Director of Learner Success in Boca Raton, FL.
The Assistant Director of Learner Success supports academic achievement across the continuum of medical education. This position plays a vital role in promoting learner success by identifying medical students, residents, and fellows who may benefit from academic support; developing proactive outreach and prevention programs; and creating individualized success plans that foster academic growth, resilience, and professional development.
Working collaboratively with undergraduate and graduate medical education leadership, faculty, assessment professionals, and student support services, the Assistant Director will design and implement evidence-based academic success initiatives, provide individualized coaching and counseling, monitor learner performance, and support preparation for course, licensure, and board examinations. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on learner outcomes while contributing to a culture of excellence, wellness, and continuous improvement in medical education.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master''s degree from an accredited institution; or a bachelor''s degree from an accredited institution and two years of experience required.
Degree awarded in education, counseling, psychology, learning sciences, higher education administration, health professions education, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two or more years of experience in academic support, learner success, academic counseling, educational assessment, student affairs, graduate medical education, undergraduate medical education, or a related educational role.
Experience developing and implementing individualized learning plans, academic coaching, remediation programs, or learner support services.
Experience interpreting learner performance data and utilizing objective measures to support academic success initiatives. Knowledge of educational best practices, learning strategies, study skills, test-taking strategies, and academic performance improvement techniques.
Salary:
$80,000 - $100,000 Annually.
