    Job Summary

    One Source Hospitality Solution is seeking a dedicated Assistant Director of Housekeeping to support the leadership and daily execution of the Housekeeping department. This role works in close partnership with the Director of Housekeeping to uphold the standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service that define the luxury guest experience. The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the flexibility to oversee operations across varying shifts including evenings in a fast-paced, high touch seasonal resort environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Support the Director of Housekeeping in the daily leadership and operational execution of the department.
    • Supervise, coach, and develop housekeeping team members across assigned shifts
    • Conduct daily briefings for evening and turndown teams to communicate VIP arrivals, special requests, and priority tasks
    • Conduct regular walk-throughs and inspections of guest rooms, lobbies, and public spaces.
    • Respond promptly to guest requests and service recovery needs related to cleanliness and room presentation
    • Assist in managing inventory and par levels of linens, guest amenities, cleaning supplies, and equipment
    • Support scheduling and staffing coverage to address seasonal fluctuations (ski season, summer peak, shoulder seasons)
    • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health department, and environmental regulations across all shifts
    • Assist with performance reviews, coaching conversations, and disciplinary actions as needed
    • Step in for the Director of Housekeeping in their absence, maintaining continuity of operations and leadership presence

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 3 years of progressive housekeeping leadership experience, including at least 2 years in supervisory or management-level roles
    • Proven ability to lead diverse teams in a fast-paced, environment
    • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
    • Forbes Travel Guide training a plus
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

    Physical Requirements

    This role requires the ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods, along with the ability to lift and carry up to 25–35 lbs, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive motions. Exposure to seasonal mountain weather.
