    Compensation

    • Base Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 / year

    Role Overview

    Serves as the #2 in Housekeeping at a Forbes Five-Star luxury resort, reporting to the Director of Housekeeping. Ensures guest accommodations and all front- and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standard at all times. Oversees a team of approximately 40 across Room Attendants, House Attendants, public area attendants, and laundry, with 2 Assistant Managers of Housekeeping and 1 Assistant Office Manager reporting in. This is a hands-on, floor-based leadership role.

     

    Key Deliverables

    • Team leadership — hire, train, schedule, and manage performance for Room Attendants and House Attendants, including coaching and disciplinary action as needed
    • Quality inspection — inspect completed rooms against brand standards; coach staff directly when standards are missed
    • Daily operations — schedule daily work, track room/floor status, coordinate and follow up on work orders, and release checkout rooms for sale
    • Floor oversight — monitor House Attendant performance, guest floor supply levels, and cleanliness of corridors, stairwells, elevators, and linen closets
     

    Required Qualifications

    • Forbes Five-Star luxury hotel or resort experience required
    • Prior experience as an Assistant Director of Housekeeping, or a strong #2 / Housekeeping Manager, at a luxury property
    • Strong leadership skills managing a diverse team, with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach
    • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication
    • Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred
    • Experience overseeing in-house laundry operations a plus (not required)
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States - no visa sponsorship available
    • Local candidates preferred; open to relocation for the right candidate
