Major/Essential Functions

  • Develop and implement strategic recruitment initiatives to increase graduate student enrollment by identifying, cultivating, and converting prospective students through the enrollment funnel for assigned academic programs.
  • Represent Texas Tech University at recruitment events, graduate fairs, conferences, webinars, employer visits, and other outreach opportunities while delivering presentations and counseling prospective students regarding graduate programs, admissions requirements, financial aid, and enrollment processes.
  • Manage a recruitment territory and prospect pipeline by utilizing the Universitys CRM and communication
    platforms to execute personalized outreach campaigns, monitor engagement, and maintain accurate recruitment records. Work with Enrollment Management Marketing to help develop and execute these outreach campaigns.
  • Collaborate with academic colleges, faculty, and Enrollment Management partners to develop recruitment strategies, promote graduate programs, improve application conversion, and support enrollment goals.
  • Analyze recruitment and enrollment data to evaluate recruitment effectiveness, identify market opportunities,monitor key performance indicators, and recommend data-informed strategies that improve application, admission, and enrollment outcomes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and admissions counseling by serving as a primary point of contact for prospective graduate students, responding to inquiries, guiding applicants through the admissions process, and assisting admitted students through enrollment.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute graduate recruitment programs and events, including open houses, information sessions, campus visits, virtual events, and yield initiatives designed to engage prospective and admitted students.
  • Provide leadership and supervision for Graduate Recruitment staff, including establishing performance
    expectations, coaching employees, coordinating recruitment activities, evaluating performance, and ensuring achievement of departmental enrollment goals.

  • Masters degree in Higher Education, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Student Affairs, or a related field preferred; experience in graduate recruitment, enrollment management, or higher education is highly desirable.
