Target hiring range for this position will be between $56,780 - $62,500 per year or per hour. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Job Summary:
This position assists in the day-to-day operation and supervision of a comprehensive Sport Club program and helps oversees the annual Wildcat Summer Camp. The focus of the position is to enhance overall participant safety through direct supervision of Sport Clubs and Wildcat Summer Camp activities. Assistant Director, Sport Clubs and Wildcat Summer Camp reports to Associate Director, External Operations and Events.

Minimum Qualifications:
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelors degree in Physical Education, Recreation, Wellness or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
Minimum 1 year experience in programming and developing Sports Club, Intramurals and Recreation, preferably at the collegiate level.
CPR/First Aid certified
Experience administering competitive sports, camp and recreation programs

Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong computer skills including experience with word processing, spreadsheets, data bases and presentation software desirable.
Available to work weeknights and weekends as assigned.
Ability to work cooperatively with others and effectively interact and establish engaging relationships with a wide variety of constituents.
