Oregon State University-Cascades is seeking an Assistant Director of Admissions. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position.
This position is located in Bend, Oregon.
The Assistant Director of Admissions reports directly to the Director of Admissions at OSU-Cascades. This position supports the director by providing overall management and supervision of the admissions team based at OSU-Cascades. The incumbent is responsible for providing leadership and strategic development in the admission and recruitment initiatives for undergraduate students at the OSU-Cascades campus. Duties include but are not limited to: assisting the director with strategic planning in support of campus enrollment goals and strategic plan; directly supervising the admissions advisers in their on-campus responsibilities; maintaining a budget; planning on-campus recruiting events; communicating with students, families, advisors, counselors and colleagues regularly; planning and implementing special recruitment initiatives; and serving as the program representative at University functions, student activities and external functions as needed. Oregon State University’s campus in Bend, Oregon features outstanding faculty indegree programs that reflect Central Oregon’s vibrant economy and abundant natural resources. Twenty undergraduate majors, thirty minors and options, and three graduate programs include computer science, energy systems engineering, kinesiology, hospitality management, and tourism and outdoor leadership. The campus expanded to a four-year university in fall 2015 and moved to a new campus location in the fall of 2016. It’s goal is to reach 3,000 students enrolled.

This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per University Standard: 05-010 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months.
This position requires driving a university vehicle or a personal vehicle on behalf of the university; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in their state of residence, be determined to be position qualified and self-report convictions as per University Policy 05-030.
