    Responsibilities

    The Assistant Director for Strategy, Assessment & Innovation is responsible for developing and managing a wide range of grants and research that focuses on the development and incorporation of leadership and service as vital parts of a liberal arts education. This position is responsible for the grant portfolio of the Center for Leadership and Service, in addition to leading a team focused on the development and dissemination of research, data collection and analysis, assessment and innovation across the Center for Leadership and Service.

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelors degree and four years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and eight years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)
    • A valid State of Florida or Georgia Driver's License or the ability to obtain prior to hire.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Knowledge of and the ability to apply the principles and practices to strategically align tasks and people with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
    • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking based upon in-depth data, substantiating information, considering and respecting others input personal values, and ethics.
    • Ability to prepare and monitor budget information.
    • Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
    • Ability to provide leadership and direction in programmatic, budgetary, and operational functions.
    • Ability to train and supervise employees.
    • Ability to solicit donors.
    • Knowledge of federal, state, and private sources for contract and grant funds.
    • Knowledge of the principles and practices of project planning, development, and evaluation
    • Skill in public speaking.
    • Ability to perform assigned responsibilities with minimal to moderate supervision.

    Anticipated Salary Range

    Mid $50,000s, commensurate with education and experience.
