Position Information

Description & Details:

The Office of Admission is seeking an organized, energetic, creative and collaborative team member to manage new student campus visit programming. This position will plan, execute and assess Office of Admission event logistics and maintain collaborative partnerships with campus and off-campus partners. The Assistant Director for Campus Visits supervises Campus Visit Coordinators, Graduate Assistant, and student tour guides.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8AM-5PM, 7:30AM-4PM during breaks and summer, and evenings and weekends as needed for scheduled events.

Hiring Range: $59,000 - $60,000

Pay is based on several factors, including budget, labor market, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and/or certification and other business considerations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communication, business or other related field
  • 2 + years of Program or event planning experience with the ability to manage multiple projects, adhere to deadlines, and delegate duties.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
  • Comfort with data tracking, CRM systems, scheduling tools, and basic analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations and fostering an inclusive, welcoming environment.
  • valid drivers license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of professional experience at a regionally accredited college or university, preferably in admission.
  • Experience presenting to large audiences in professional, educational, or persuasive settings.
  • Experience supervising professional and student staff
  • Strong understanding of systems used by Office of Admission (PeopleSoft, TargetX, AcademicWorks, Perceptive Content)
