Summary:
The Assistant Director of Annual Giving develops and executes strategic fundraising, stewardship, and engagement initiatives that support Rollins College's Annual Giving goals. This role leads student philanthropy programs, donor stewardship communications, and multi-channel fundraising campaigns, leveraging digital engagement strategies to increase donor participation, strengthen donor relationships, and build the future donor pipeline. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, data-driven professional with strong project management and communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead the strategy, execution, and assessment of student philanthropy programs, including Student Philanthropy Week and Senior Class Gift and other student engagement efforts.
Develop opportunities to expand student philanthropy programming throughout the undergraduate experience, including a four-year engagement model and a student philanthropy volunteer council. KPIs include student giving participation and Senior Class Gift participation.
Develop and optimize Annual Giving stewardship and donor retention strategies that strengthen relationships with donors giving under $2,500.
Lead the planning, creation, and assessment of stewardship communications that encourage continued engagement and philanthropic support.
Create segmented stewardship strategies for students, young alumni, parents, and faculty/staff.
Lead Annual Giving's digital engagement efforts by planning and executing integrated, multi-channel fundraising and engagement strategies to support student philanthropy, donor stewardship, solicitation, and retention goals.
Create compelling digital content, build and deploy communications, analyze campaign performance, and recommend enhancements based on engagement and fundraising results.
Recruit, manage, and grow student digital advocates who promote Student Philanthropy Week, Rollins Giving Day, and other Annual Giving initiatives through digital peer-to-peer outreach.
Serve on the core team for Rollins Giving Day, leading student engagement, digital advocacy, and texting initiatives, coordinating and executing community-wide events, and contributing to the planning and execution of integrated digital communications.
Develop and execute solicitation and stewardship communications for select Annual Giving priorities, including the Rollins Museum of Art and key milestone reunion giving initiatives.
Lead the phased development of faculty and staff giving initiatives by engaging campus partners, developing communications strategies, and implementing programs that strengthen employee participation and philanthropic engagement.
Partner with the Senior Associate Director of Annual Giving to execute integrated solicitation and stewardship strategies and ensure cohesive donor journeys.
Partner with colleagues in Advancement, Marketing, and Student Affairs to coordinate overall donor stewardship strategies, align messaging and brand standards, and strengthen student engagement initiatives and peer-to-peer advocate programs.
Serve as the primary liaison to the Center for Campus Involvement, student-facing co-curricular departments, and student-led clubs and organizations to develop meaningful philanthropic engagement opportunities.
Support Alumni Weekend and other alumni, student, and Advancement programs/events.
